One of the hardest things about recording events, thoughts, feelings, is the HOW. I have always loved blogging. I would not say that I am an avid blogging, reading or writing, but I do enjoy them. I had a blog for my LDS mission emails while in Orlando, Florida and one for my summer working in Alaska, both were really good ways to help people keep track with what I was doing. I do not mean to say that in a conceited way, I do not think everyone wants to see my everyday life, but with friends and family spread so far apart and me on the go, I think people get confused on where I am at half the time. I also despise answering the same general questions over again: What are you studying in school? (political science). What do you plan on doing with that? (Some kind of work). Are you going to pursue a Masters? (Do you have thirty grand to give me?). Are you dating anyone? (...No.....).
With that in mind, the purpose of this blog is to condense those questions into one place where technology will become so advanced that just by asking me one of the above questions this blog will automatically appear on the person who is asking's smart phone/other device, whether they are genuinely interested or not. Ultimately, I will not have to come up with words to make me sound like I have it all "figured out" and the person will not have to just smile tell me that its a good plan, when really they are thinking, "There is no hope for this girl!".
I hope no one takes offense to the above, because really it is just a ramble or even an idea that would be pretty sweet. To be honest I answers those questions politely and it does not bother me as much as it sounds like. It just gets to be "blah". In less than a week it will be the year 2015 and I know these questions will pop up more frequently. Why, you ask? Because I, Aisha, will be graduating from Brigham Young University Idaho on April 10th and I have absolutely NO CLUE what I will be doing, where I will be working, and all the other questions that people will ask. The answer is simply, "I do not know" and you know what? I am pretty content with that. Because the world is my oyster and I can do whatever I want!!
So cozy down with a nice cup of hot chocolate or a big gulp and get ready to.....read or not. The choice is really up to you! Because I am ready for some adventures!
